To celebrate the recent launch of its Facebook page, Verallia, the second largest global manufacturer of glass packaging for the food and beverage industry, is hosting a new photo contest “Summertime Aperitif” beginning Sept. 6, 2012.
Participants are invited to prolong their summer until Oct. 15, 2012, by sending their best photographs of aperitifs in their free time, showing the ever-present glass bottles and jars. Chic, Zen, duo, green and urban cocktails – there is a wide variety of inspiration for the best photos. Verallia reminds you to drink responsibly.
Winners will be selected by public voting, and they will receive as prizes one of the three roundtrip airline tickets, each with a respective value of 500 €, 400 € and 300 €.
Verallia’s new Facebook page offers information about glass and its attributes, which will be updated frequently. Internet users have the opportunity to preview Verallia’s news concerning innovation, new products, and sponsorships and events organized by the glassmaker. They will also be invited to join the Verallia – Forever Glass community and to take part in the various events (contests, quizzes, opinion polls, etc) and in the public vote for the next packaging design contest.
This Facebook page, Verallia’s first appearance on social networks, is intended for an international audience and offers information in both English and French. It is intended to share the glassmaker’s passion for food and beverage packaging and its commitment to sustainable development, adding value to products, design and the promotion of consumer health and well-being.
