For ten years, Selective Line has published our yearly Stylebook, anticipating international trends in design and glass packaging. By combining new sociocultural habits with decorations and new bottle shapes, our Stylebook reimagines traditional glass packaging and aims to inspire our customer and partners’ future creations.
In 2022, art will take center stage amongst our new trends. Its aesthetic and therapeutic functions reconcile a longing for elegance with environmental concerns. We have identified two trends for 2022: “Pavane” summons the art of cultivating elegance, while “Happening” evokes the art of raising awareness.
To acknowledge each trend, new standard bottle shapes have been designed while Saga Décor (France) and Verallia Polska (Poland) have imagined new standard bottle shapes, along with fresh inspirations and decoration techniques.
This 10-year-old bourbon distilled in Brooklyn was bottled in an extra-flint Moonea, its round body enhanced by a retro label.
The premium eco-designed EGO (Enhanced Geometric Objects) Bourgogne model with a large 61mm push-up and a VEO (Verallia Easy Open) finish underlines the refinement of the product offered by Clos de Luz. The width of the bottle’s body contrasts with its relatively small height.
The PARIS bottle was chosen to underline the exceptional character of this vintage blanc de blanc. Its unique and subtle dosage brings out the very best of this white wine, bearing the know-how and memory of the men who have left their mark on it. It should be noted that the silk-screen printing was carried out by Saga Décor using the Artefakt process.
In order to reinforce the originality of our high-end offer, we entrusted Chantal Thomass with the design of a bottle and a carafe. The French fashion designer participated in all stages of bottle development: preliminary drawings, adjustments with the product development center and glass tests in the factory. This “haute couture” range already includes 11 variations and guarantees a truly unique packaging.
